Andrei Matcovschi — Owner & Project Manager
Who is Andrei Matcovschi
Andrei Matcovschi is the founder, owner and project manager of Automation Systems. His job fits in one sentence: he finds the recurring manual work inside a company, and our team builds software that does it automatically.
For years we have worked alongside independent professionals, practices — legal, medical, technical, accounting — SMEs and large companies. Different sectors, same pattern: capable people spending hours every week copying data between systems, chasing payments, rewriting the same quote, compiling the same report. That time never shows up on an invoice, but it costs real money.
Andrei is an entrepreneur first, moving across tech, finance, innovation and AI rather than staying in a single niche. Automation Systems reflects that range: we work with everyone from independent professionals to very large companies, with a strong footprint in finance, healthcare, construction and real estate.
Today that work adds up to more than 50 active clients and over 200 automations delivered by Automation Systems. Every one of them started with the same question: which task here repeats itself, week after week, exactly the same way?
Why custom software
Most businesses run on off-the-shelf packages — and quietly bend their own processes to fit the software. We work the other way round. We study how your company actually operates, then our team builds a management system shaped around those processes: orders, jobs, clients, documents and invoicing in one place, doing things your way.
The payoff comes from automation: recurring invoices that issue and send themselves, payment reminders that go out politely and on schedule, stock that reorders below threshold, a report landing in your inbox every Monday morning with sales and cash — no spreadsheets touched. If you want to see what that looks like in practice, we keep a page of real automation examples our clients use daily.
Custom doesn't have to mean enormous. Many projects start with a single painful process — quoting, say, or payment collection — automated well, paying for itself, and then growing from there. The system expands at the pace your business can absorb, not at the pace a vendor wants to bill.
Where it makes sense, we also build the front door: fast business websites with technical SEO, wired straight into the CRM so that an enquiry on the site becomes a tracked lead with a follow-up already scheduled — not an email someone might notice on Thursday.
How we work
Three habits, and we hold ourselves to all of them:
- Free analysis first. Before any commitment, we spend half an hour on how your business runs today and where the hours are going. It costs you nothing and you keep the findings either way.
- Transparent quotes. You see what we build, what it costs and how long it takes — agreed in writing before anything starts. No open-ended day rates, no surprises in month three.
- Measurable return. Every automation is judged in hours saved and errors avoided. If we don't believe a project will pay for itself, Andrei tells you so before you spend a euro or a franc on it.
One point of contact, a whole team behind it. You talk to the owner and project manager — Andrei Matcovschi — from the first call to the working system and beyond, while the Automation Systems team builds. No account managers, no ticket queues between you and the person who understands your project.
A worldwide network of specialists
Nobody here pretends to do everything alone. Automation Systems is an international team of specialists spread around the world: development, system integrations, data, artificial intelligence, design and SEO. The team builds the system; Andrei chooses the right skills for each project, coordinates the work and remains the single person accountable for the result.
For you that means the reach of a structured company with the directness of dealing with the founder.
Milan, Como and the Swiss border
Our operating bases are in Milan and Como, and our clients are spread across Italy and Switzerland. Como sits minutes from Canton Ticino, so cross-border work is part of the daily routine: most projects run remotely, with in-person meetings in Lombardy and Ticino whenever they help. If you run a Swiss business, there's a dedicated page on how we'd work together.
